Six Subsidiary Exercises Study Group

Chrysalis Steiner School chosen for the 2015 SEA Delegates Meeting

  The exciting news, hot off the press, is that Chrysalis Steiner School as been chosen as the venue for the 2015 Steiner Education Australia (SEA) Delegates meeting. Representatives from 40 Steiner schools from all over Australia will be descending on the beautiful Thora valley on Friday March 13th to meet and discuss the state of Steiner education today. Class Meeting Dates – Term 1 2015

The next few weeks are full of meetings. All of the class meeting dates are now confirmed and appear below. We urge as many parents as possible to attend. The class meetings form a vital bridge between the class teacher and the parent body. They allow parents to get an overview of the term's lessons. They allow an extended conversation around issues of interest to the class and they allow a deepening of the class community. Meet our new Class One teacher for 2015

It is with great pleasure that Chrysalis School announces that Michele Donovan has been appointed as the Class 1 teacher for 2015. Michele joins us from Thornbury Primary School in which she has been teaching Class 3 in the Steiner stream. Michele said that she is excited about taking the step to come to Chrysalis and join a fully fledged Steiner School after teaching in a streamed school for two years. Going Downhill Fast – ish

Camps are a huge feature of the Chrysalis School curriculum. It is hard to imagine any other school out there, of comparable size, with quite as comprehensive a camp program. These camps become milestones for the children in our families.
