    PDHPE TEACHER, Term 3 2025 – Temporary position · School: Chrysalis Steiner School, Thora (Bellingen) · Closing Date: 11 July 2025 · Email: admin@chrysalis.nsw.edu.au · 2 – 3 Days per week A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY: PDHPE TEACHER IN BELLINGEN SHIRE 2025 We seek a warm, experienced and committed teacher who embraces the philosophy of Steiner Education and is excited to join and strengthen our School for Term 3 as a PDHPE Teacher in our High School Program for Term 3, 2025. Our School Chrysalis Steiner School has been established for over 40 years and we currently have around 200 students across classes K-10. The School is located on the Bellinger River, approximately 20 minutes drive from the picturesque town of Bellingen. Our setting is on a hillside facing National Parkland, providing a uniquely beautiful environment for our children. The successful applicant will meet the following Criteria: Essential: 1. A demonstrated love for children and teaching. 2. Suitable qualifications at a Secondary Level, including PDHPE. 3. The ability to work collegially and a willingness to actively participate in and contribute to the cultural and festival life of the school. 4. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. 5. Hold a current Working with Children Check. Desirable 1. An understanding of the principles of child development through the lens of Rudolf Steiner’s picture of human development and how these apply to your teaching practice. 2. Teaching experience:with reference to Steiner Secondary Curriculum experiences where applicable. 3. A commitment to professional learning and inner development through anthroposophical studies and artistic activities. Applications should include: 1. A general expression of interest. 2. CV – This includes: Working with Children clearance, Teaching qualifications, teacher registration, interests, a brief summary of your career outlining relevant positions you have held and major      responsibilities. 3. Statements, which concisely describe how you consider yourself suitable against each of the selection criteria noted above. 4.
