Class 5 has returned from an adventurous 6 nights away on their Blue Mountains Camp as part of the ‘Convicts and Explorers’ Main Lesson.  The students spent their time immersed in the beauty of the Blue Mountains, whose dramatic sandstone cliffs and canyons contrast with our sleepy Mid North Coast’s rolling ranges.  The days were spent exploring cliffs and caves, abseiling, mountain biking, bushwalking, singing, playing, listening to tales of history and having an endless gaggle of giggles with their classmates.  When asked what their favourite parts of camp were, the students named each of the outdoor adventure activities, but also mentioned the meals, the campfires, the stories, and even how well setting and packing up camp went. The only cavil from this creature is that it all went too quickly.
