Office Administration Role (Operations & Systems)

This is a position in the office of a busy and vibrant school. The position has emerged due to the school’s growing needs.

The role will involve working in the following areas of school administration:

 

Educational Matters (administration)

  • Support organisation for educational activities based away from school e.g. class camps & excursions
  • Implement camp support
  • Administer student reports
  • Assist with administering compliance and statutory matters g. NESA, RANGS etc.

 

Systems Administration and Support (operations)

  • Operoo and permission slip management
  • Assist with timetabling and duty rosters
  • Complispace and policy suite management
  • Compilation and submission of Federal Census data and NCCD records

 

School Pro (database software)

  • Initiate effective use of software to support the administration of educational initiatives
  • Liaise with Business Operations Manager regarding potential improvements in database software and integration

 

First Aid

  • Support treatment of injuries and provide first aid

 

Other

  • A current Working With Children check is essential and prohibited persons may not apply
  • Second responder and answer phone in office as required
  • Administrative/organisational matters as directed by the Education Director and Business Operations Manager
  • other duties falling within the scope of a Level 3 Clerical Officer as required from time to time

This position (Level 3 Clerical Officer) is a 0.8–1.0FTE (negotiable) role operating Monday to Friday, from 9.00am–4.00pm (or similar hours as negotiated) for up to 44 weeks of the year.

The position will be responsible to and supervised by the Business Operations Manager. Remuneration and conditions will be in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2024.
